Turik&Art

For many years I ran my own interior design studio, creating villas, apartments and private jets for people who have everything. Years of working with these clients taught me to offer a complete vision: not only the design project and the furniture, but the art as well. This is where the designer and the artist meet, and the interior comes together as one finished picture, down to every colour accent. Turik & Art paintings are monumental abstract works for private residences, built in layers of acrylic, epoxy resin, lacquer and stone paste. My studio is in Marbella, I exhibit in Paris, and I work between Spain and France. My work has been shown at Art Capital at the Grand Palais in Paris, the Carrousel du Louvre, the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum and the Salon des Indépendants in Beijing and Shenzhen, as well as in numerous solo exhibitions. Seven Voices is my video series in which seven people respond, independently of one another, to the same painting: architects, collectors, art lovers and private clients from different countries, each in their own language. I don't ask them to judge the work. I ask what it awakens in them, and what it would say about its owner. The series is published on the Turik & Art YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLeSzSNgnyUU0 Not decoration. Presence.
